Here are a couple of beauty pageant movies i am sure you would enjoy.

Top on the MISS CONGENIALITY : When a pageant is under threat of a terrorist attack, an FBI agent played by Sandra Bullock goes undercover as a contestant to keep an eye on the competition. If you ever thought pageants were something to laugh it then this movie will prove you right… but not in the way you’d expect.

Next on the list is LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE: This movie has it all: A charming kid, a road trip, a children’s pageant, a choreographed dance sequence set to Rick James’ “Super Freak,” and one of the best “you do you” motivational speeches in cinematic history.

Then we have SMILE : This dark satire is set around California’s “Young American Miss” pageant, and stars Bruce Dern and Barabara Feldon as a couple dealing with the drama around their show. It’s such a classic film that it was later adapted into a Broadway show

BEAUTIFUL, yet another great pageant movie : This touching pageant dramedy, starring Minnie Driver and directed by Sally Field, explores the life of a pageant contestant so unwilling to give up on her dreams that she does so at the expense of her relationship with her daughter.

ASS BACKWARDS is next on the list : Two BFFs (played by June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson) hit the road back to their hometown in an attempt to win the child beauty pageant crown they could never quite achieve back in their glory days

DROP DEAD GORGEOUS has to be on this list : This star-studded film boasts a killer cast (Kistie Alley, Denise Richards, Ellen Barkin, Kistin Dunst, Brittney Murphy, Amy Adams, and Allison Janney) and killer plot… literally. These pageant girls are so driven for success that they’ll do anything to succeed — and we mean anything.

Last on the list is PAGEANT : This documentary film follows five gay men as they pursue their dreams of becoming Miss Gay America. It’s a heartwarming and eye-opening exploration of a different kind of pageant culture that most Americans aren’t familiar with – but absolutely should be.
