Ohimai Atafo returned to Nigeria from the UK in 2002 after a Master’s degree in Information System and Technology.

After a decade of working with different Nigerian corporate sectors; he resigned just after he began his collections, Mai Atafo Inspired, now Atafo Brand. He also trained as a tailor to perfect his talent as a fashion designer.

His clients include fashionable and famous Nigerians like MBGN 2005-Omowunmi Akinnifesi , Banky W – musician and politician, Dakore Egbuson- a seasoned actress, BBN host for several years IK Osakioduwa , Stephanie Okereke-Idahosa another ex-beauty queen, to mention a few.

Eleven years ago, 2011, he launched ‘Wedding By Mai’ a wedding line. This wedding line is unisex (for some of us who relate wedding lines to only female outfits).
